Claire has been practicing bodywork since completing her massage and yoga teacher studies in 2012 in Tempe, AZ. After 12 years of life in the desert near the Mexican border in Tucson, AZ, she relocated to North Carolina in 2022 with her son and small dog. She holds a BA in Spanish, a Master’s in Secondary Education, and a deep love of teaching and learning.

Over the 14 years of her professional development as a bodyworker, Claire has completed various trainings in massage modalities and paths of study of the body, health practices, and the outcomes these practices have on our lives. Her continuing education has included coursework in biodynamic craniosacral therapy, myofascial work, myotherapy, biomechanics, cadaver labs, postpartum doula care, abdominal therapy support for women, whole foods nutrition and herbalism.

After sustaining a torn ACL and reparative surgery in 2019, Claire took a special interest in injury rehabilitation via massage and movement, and enjoys exploring options with clients for exercises, lifestyle, postural adaptations for better mobility and quality of life.

Her small family lives a slower-paced homeschooling life, where reading, strolling, singing, and enjoying God’s good gifts are practices that shape the rhythms of their days.
